Giving Something Back
Creating a lasting impact
Giving back is fundamental to Jungle HR’s identity. When organisations work with Jungle HR, they are partnering with a business that is deeply passionate about making a difference for others and using its voice and influence to create impact far beyond its immediate work.
This commitment has seen Jungle HR support global initiatives such as its work with The Hunger Project, helping to provide over 8,000 women in under-developed countries with entrepreneurial education and micro-loans, enabling them to take practical steps towards ending hunger in their communities.
Today, that commitment continues through Jungle HR’s patronage of The Bates Foundation — supporting life-changing education, mentoring and wellbeing for children living in some of the world’s toughest conditions.
Giving something back is not a one-off initiative. It is an ongoing commitment to using business as a positive force — in a way that is human, grounded and impactful.
Proud Patrons of The Bates Foundation
In 2025, Jungle HR became Proud Patrons of The Bates Foundation, a UK-registered charity (No. 1207564) founded by Sebastian Bates in 2022.
The Bates Foundation has already transformed the lives of over 50,000 children worldwide, focusing on children living in some of the toughest conditions — from slums and orphanages to rescue shelters and schools across developing countries.
Their work centres on:
Soft-skill development to build confidence, resilience and aspiration
Mentoring and support to widen opportunity and strengthen futures
Nutrition and wellbeing to help children thrive, not just survive
Education access to unlock long-term life chances
In December 2025, Jungle HR attended the Bates Foundation Patrons’ Event, including the premiere of the Foundation’s film, which powerfully showcased the progress and impact achieved so far.
A Legacy of Impact
Over the years we have been proud to be involved in a number of legacy projects including serving as an Ambassador of The Hunger Project, supporting its mission to end hunger sustainably.
Through this work, Jungle HR raised over £10,000, helping to enable more than 8,000 women in under-developed countries to access entrepreneurial education and micro-loans — equipping them with practical steps to build livelihoods, strengthen food security, and help end hunger in their local communities.
This programme was important to us because we recognise that empowerment creates lasting change — especially when women and communities have the tools to lead their own futures.
Our impact and the UN Sustainable Development Goals
Jungle HR’s giving and partnerships align to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) — ensuring impact is purposeful, relevant and focused.
Our partnerships (so far) contribute to:
Goal 1: No Poverty – enabling access to opportunity, income and security
Goal 2: Zero Hunger – supporting sustainable pathways to food security
Goal 3: Good Health & Wellbeing – strengthening wellbeing and resilience
Goal 4: Quality Education – expanding access to learning and life chances
Goal 5: Gender Equality – investing in women’s empowerment and leadership
Goal 8: Decent Work & Economic Growth – supporting skills, enterprise and livelihoods
Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals – collaborating for meaningful, scalable impact
Why it matters
Jungle HR believes responsible leadership extends beyond organisational boundaries.
It is about the contribution made beyond the workplace — the lives supported, the opportunities unlocked and the futures strengthened through purposeful action.
Giving something back is not a one-off initiative. It is an ongoing commitment to using business as a positive force for good.
If you want to work with a consultancy that combines commercial rigour with values-led leadership — and that is committed to creating impact beyond the day-to-day — we’d love to connect.
