Lessons from Choosing a Superpower

Lessons from Choosing a Superpower

“Mum, which superhero would you like to be?” was a question my son regularly asked me during the holidays when he was younger.    Playing along, I stepped into his superhero world and we debated for a while which superhero characters were better and why. The Earth Green Leader

The strengths and challenges for the Earth Green Manager and Leader Having enjoyed a productive weekend in the garden, I thought it highly appropriate to continue our blog series about personality and how your Insights Discovery Energy preferences impact on your leadership style. What is Earth Green Energy? Earth Green energy is a combination of Introversion and Feeling.  This combination results in an Earth Green Manager or Leader who prefers reflection, harmony and consensus.   With an inward focus, judgements are likely to be value-based and decisions will considered and typically made after long periods of reflection.  They are likely to appear casual and conforming.  Their primary focus is to maintaining harmony and group consensus. Managers and Leaders with an Earth Green energy preference want to achieve goals too and can be very driven (just like the Fiery Red Leader) but if the human cost is too high they will change the goal.       They have a strong desire to be liked and will fear confrontation. Earth Green energy preference can be characterised by the following adjectives: Caring ...
