An HR consultancy based in Newport Shropshire that works with executive boards and management teams supporting their development and growth and advising them on gender, diversity and inclusivity matters is celebrating its third nomination for awards this year.
Teresa Boughey, founder and MD of Jungle HR has just been nominated for the Gender Positive Role Model Award in the National Diversity Awards 2018.
This comes hot on the heels of being shortlisted this month (May 2018) for the Best New Business in the Shropshire Chamber Business Awards and picking up an award for the Woman Who ….Achieves Award for Change Champion for Women in Business.
Teresa said: “It is fantastic to be nominated and to be recognised for the work that I so enjoy, I think it is essential that female talent is developed and I support both individuals and organisations to do this through mentoring programmes and strategies that will help create a diverse workforce and close the gender pay gap.
My passion and drive to support women in the workplace comes from a very personal journey and as a mother and grandmother I feel compelled to demonstrate the importance of strong and inspirational female role models.”
The breath taking Liverpool Anglican Cathedral will play host to this year’s awards, to be held on 14th September. Britain’s most inspirational and selfless people will come together to honour the rich tapestry of our nation, recognising individuals and groups from grass roots communities. The prestigious black tie event recognises nominees in their respective fields of diversity including age, disability, gender, race, faith, religion and sexual orientation.
The National Diversity Awards receives over 20,000 nominations and votes annually. Founder & CEO Paul Sesay said, ‘As we enter our 7th awards season, the game changers and peace makers who remain unheard will shine under the spotlight, and reach every section of society with their passion and positivity.
