Teresa Boughey, who runs National Award Winning  Jungle HR,  has been asked to speak on one of her specialist subjects – Closing the Gender Pay Gap.  Boughey will be speaking on day two of the conference and will focus her talk on how organisations can weave diversity and inclusion through their organisations to close the Gender Pay Gap.

Managing Director and Founder of Jungle HR, Teresa says: “I am delighted to have been asked to speak at this inaugural event. Gender Pay really is right at the top of the leadership agenda at present particularly following the recent submission deadline set by the government for the publishing of Gender Pay Gap information by large employers.

“The next step is for companies to develop strategies to close that pay gap.  If companies want to reap the rewards that a diverse workforce brings they need to act now ‘

‘The publishing of data for some might have been an uncomfortable truth.  It’s important not to shy away but to be honest and confront the problems and I will be suggesting ways this can be addressed in my presentation.”

Other topicritical power and decentralised energy 2018 logocs being covered by the 12 speakers in the Women in Power strand will include gender diversity in the workplace and improved training and opportunities within schools, colleges and Higher Education.
